Hotel Astor received the Green Key eco-label in October 2020. When you choose us as your hotel, you also make a choice for the benefit of the environment.

Staying in a Green Key certified hotel means that you choose a hotel that is responsible and approved by Green Key’s strict environmental requirements.

Green Key is an international eco-label awarded to accommodation and congress companies that pay special attention to the environment, and Green Key aims to contribute to sustainable consumption and environmental impact reduction.

We want to continually improve our environmental work, which means we have shaped our efforts into our environmental program. We have set environmental goals and we have an action plan to achieve those goals.

The next step after receiving the Green Key certification was to work for a sustainable future, and now we have been awarded the Sustainable Travel Finland label!

Visit Finland has created the program "Sustainable Travel Finland" to develop Finnish tourism companies towards a sustainable future in the tourism industry. Companies that have completed the program and meet the criteria will receive an STF label. The label is a proof of the company's commitment to sustainable tourism in the areas of ecological sustainability, socio-cultural sustainability, economic sustainability and ethical sustainability, as well as safety sustainability.
