Charming Hotel Astor is located in the center of Vaasa. The privately owned hotel is of a high standard and all 49 rooms are individually decorated and all rooms are unique. As is the Finnish tradition, many rooms have their own sauna (superior room). The famous breakfast and brunch are served in the Gustavian-style decorated breakfast room.  

Mostly local products are used for our breakfast and brunch and

oven-baked homemade cakes and pastries spread wonderful scents. The hotel’s quiet location and the customer focused service offered by the small family hotel is our strength.

The hotel is just across the street from the railway station and the city center attractions, shopping malls and theaters are just around the corner. A high-quality broadband internet connection is free of charge for our customers.

Hotel Astor, the hotel, which was the home of butter trader Laurell more than 100 years ago, is today a small cozy hotel in the heart of the city. The hotel has a small lobby, a hunting inspired bar with small bar menue. The hotel shrimp sandwich with hand peeled shrimp is a favorite of many hotel guests. There is also a cozy library at the bar where guests are welcome to read books or print tickets at the guest terminal or to arrange meetings, full conference facilities are available.

To get to the hotel, we ask you to drive along Asemakatu and stop where you will see the sign for Hotel Astor. There you can park the car for half an hour while you check in, and then move the car. We cooperate with Teatteriparkki and recommend that you park the car there for 5 € / day.
